Autism Society of the Bluegrass

Meeting on Monday, June 28, 2021

6:30 – 8:30 PM

via Zoom & Facebook Live

Please join us as Sarah Taylor Vanover, Ed.D. discusses

Child Care and Children with Special Needs

There are special considerations in choosing caregivers for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, and not every provider is qualified or willing to offer what is necessary.  Dr. Vanover will talk about what to look for in a center or private provider.

Dr. Sarah Vanover has been working in the field of early childhood education for over 22 years and has had the opportunity to be a teacher, a director, a trainer, and a college professor for other early childhood educators.  Dr. Vanover is currently the Director for the Division of Child Care for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. For the past several years she has focused her work and research on assessing quality early childhood programs for health and safety requirements and school readiness skills.

This meeting will also be recorded for our YouTube Channel and uploaded soon.
