Please join us as the ASBG Presents:
“Retirement, Social Security and Medicaid, One Mother’s Journey” with Arlene Jacina
Arlene Jacina is a school teacher and has worked with children in the Fayette County School System for over two decades. Her son Robbie has autism so she has been an advocate for him for twenty-something years. Arlene has practical experience securing medical, educational, and Michelle P waiver services for Robbie. Last year due to special circumstances, Robbie became eligible for social security. This began another level of advocacy. Arlene will share this difficult journey with families attending this Autism Awareness month’s meeting. Families will want to hear how parental retirement, Medicaid, and Social Security impact waiver services. Join us for a truly informative case discussion.
