Jeffrey Coles, MA
Jeffrey Coles began his career at the Kentucky Department of Education, 5 years ago, as a Professional Growth and Effectiveness System Program Administrator. In this role he supported the teacher evaluation process by facilitating the Student Voice Survey to solicit student feedback for over 80% of certified teachers in Kentucky. His Current focus is with Federal and State regulation regarding students with disabilities. His primary foci are students with Emotional Behavior Disorder and Autism in the Division of Learning Services. With a M.A. in Public Administration and Education, and a passion for programs and services supporting at-risk students, Mr. Coles also brings experience as a Home School Liaison and Exceptional Student Teacher with the Fayette County Public Schools. In addition, he brings private sector experience working with quality improvement initiatives as a Senior Consultant for the Center for Quality People and Organizations.
Jeffrey is socially conscience, goal driven, and results-oriented having worked on local community and district initiatives including the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Initiative in Fayette County. Jeffrey enjoys physically working out and spending time with his wife, Dominika and children, Jaelyn, Jaryne, Deasha, Tim, JeMariah and Dominic.
