Pennsylvania Plan for serving adults with ASD Print E-mail

Last week, the Department of Public Welfare's Office of Autism Affairs held a teleconference to discuss possible solutions to the lack ofadult services in the state of Pennsylvania. It seems that two plans are being considered and the DPW would likestakeholder input on the subject.

To view the powerpoint presentation (in PDF) from the teleconference that discusses the two different plans (OBRA expansion and PIHP,Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan), go to:

According to the presentation, the DPW would like to begin the implementation of services as of January 1, 2007, if they can findfunding. (Which always remains a challenge.)
