Hands-On Nature at the Arboretum Print E-mail
The ASBG is teaming up with the Arboretum to offer a Nature class for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their siblings/friends! Hands-On Nature will be held for 4 Thursdays, April 13 through May 4 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Arboretum on Alumni Drive.

Roberta Burnes, Education Director at the Arboretum, has some great classes planned, including hands-on activities and outdoor exploration. Each week will have a different theme: Seeds, Trees, Food from Plants, and Animals.

Class size will be limited and on a first-come basis. Feel free to invite a sibling or friend, but they must also be registered. Fee will be $12 per child for the four weeks. Classes will be geared toward ages 6-14. We are asking for parents/caretakers to stay for the sessions.

To register or for more information, call the Arboretum at 257-9339, or email Patti Parsons at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
